n00b question time
bear with me here

i have lightly modded the mas air on my 1g
removed silencer
and lower honey comb
no fuel cut at 16 psi

now what i tinkered with was the screw on the bottom of the mas air ont he lower section, lowered it so it was flush, car seemed to run better. pulled the plugs, light brown/white

now this seems odd to me. wouldn't the computer read off the map sensor and seeing its getting more air and correct for it to a certain extent???

im running a rewire on this as well
not sure if the fpr is going south on me or the pump is.
or is it normal.

No, because you increasing the flow of the unmetered portion. Assuming your running the same boost, etc, what this does is make the same amount of air go into the engine but less is metered. The less metered air you have the less fuel you will have. You're still safe though.
