fuel-cut in 3rd with maft with #3 mode switch on

With my current set-up,the maft say's keep the #3 mode switch on to prevent fuel cut. The problem is that i only hit fuel cut in 3rd gearwith the #3 mode switch on.

I only have the maft base switch to initial set-up for 650cc, and the car idles fine, but the fuel cut still happens in 3rd.

Somebody help me out.

1. Turn switch #3 off. It works by capping the MAFT output signal, and that is something that you DO NOT want.

2. What are you tuning with? Do you have a logger?

3. If you tune properly for 660 cc/min injectors, there is no way you're going to hit fuel cut. It just won't happen, unless you're flowing a TON of air.

4. I'm thinking that your tuning is bad, and you have BIG boost leaks.

Well i tried it with the #3 switch off and it still did it. I do have a p-logger but i haven't logged with it yet. I still can't understand why it only happens in 3rd gear either.

Of course when you turn switch #3, it's still going to do it. That's not the point, the point is that you shouldn't use that switch, even if it makes your girlfriend's boobs bigger and your wallet fatter. It sucks, turn it off.

Pressure test the intake system, fix the leaks, and then tune the car. If you do these three things, it won't fuel cut anymore.
