I have a 2g and I currently have the MAFT setup, I put the maft on with my current setup.
which is:
Big 16g turbo, maft, safc, 880cc injectors, and a 100shot(and all the supporting mods)

I put the maft on the car, got the car to start up and rev then we did a few pulls on the dyno. Got a good clean pull and I pick up roughly 30hp just with a very rough tune. Then we started tuning for power and the maft worked great. Before I made 220hp and about 205tq of bottle and 283hp and 310ft lbs of torque (crappy bottle pressure)(don't still have that dyno sheet because I was a little disapointed). After tuning the maft I dynoed 283hp and 293ft lbs of torque. Went to spray it and the clutchy let go. Put a new clutch in and made 290hp@3300 rpm and 444ft lbs of torque@3300rpm the the motor let go (no big surprise there stock 7 bolt with 130,000+ miles on it, no problem though because my new motor is ready to go in).

But heres my new setup
built 2.4L
Web cams (maybe)
sc63 turbo
100 shot
880cc injectors
maft
safc

Do you guys think a DSMlink+maft can control this setup, or should I bite the bullit and get a standalone. The biggest thing i'm worried about is the timing aspect. Will DSMlink be enough. My hp goal is 550 on turbo.

There has yet to be found, a "setup" that DSMlink can't handle.

Your setup is "mild" compared to some others using DSMLink.

Hal

Well I have no experience with the dsmlink, how does it compare to lets say the AEM EMS. I have a little bit of experience with the AEM, and a little bit with the haltech, and I would rather have one of these but i'm straped for cash right now.

Go with DSMLink.

You dyno results just aren't right. Did you put the wrong rpm points in for your power peak and torque peak?

Let me rephrase. It is very close to impossible that your torque and power peaks occured at the same place, and at 3300 rpm. Something is wrong with that.

You were on your way to like 500 ft-lbs of torque on that dyno pull.

That's 200 ft-lbs more with the nitrous. Insane.

If you go with dsmlink you wont be sorry... my buddy has dsmlink and a maft...

When you install the maft use dsmlink to clamp the barometric pressure and intake temp, it made a pretty big difference for him.
