Holley Injectors??

I have a friend that works at Advanced Auto and I asked him if he could get me Denso 660cc injectors and how much they would be. He told me that they didn't sell Denso but that they had a Holley Sport Compact book and he would look in there.

Anyway, They sell 65pph injectors which translates to a little over 660cc and he can get them for me for like $250. Has anyone ever heard of them being used on an Eclipse? What do you guys think of Holley? I know that they are well know for carburators and stuff for Muscle Cars but are their products for Sport Compacts just as good?

Yes, my buddy is running a set now. They work great. The only "hitch" is you have to turn down the end so it fits into the head (or maybe it was the fuel rail end--I can't remember). It is plastic and not tough to do, but it needs to be pretty accurate. That is going to be my injector upgrade when the time comes. They are ball-style and according to Dsm-performance.com (via their picture), have better atomization and do better with higher duty cycles than the pintle injectors. Hey, can you get me some of those injectors for $250? That is lower than the price I found.

Yeah they work fine, but I think you need to use a spacer or some some special o-ring to get them to seal correctly on a DSM fuel rail

Maybe. I'm not sure that it was $250 it might have been $270 now that I think about it. But I get his discount so if it is $270 I will get $27 off of that.

Does your buddy that is using them come one here so he could tell me exactly what I need to make them fit?

What kind of special spacer or o-ring would I need. If it will be a real pain in the a$$ to install I'll just go with Denso and pay the extra money.

Let me try to explain this correctly.

Holley makes a standard DSM injector style for our cars. Holley also makes a standard injector type to work in our style cars, if you run their fuel rail.

Holley has a fuel rail out to fit their injectors, and to fit the stock type DSM injectors.

Good thing about Holley injectors, is that all sizes are the same price.

Holley fuel rails are nice too, pre-tapped for FP sender, and take a -8an on each side.

Digging up an old thread, I'm looking at a set of Holley injectors. They are the 95 lb/hr low impedence part # 522-9504. From their chart here. The chart states that they are "universal". When I called them, they said that they were a top feed "Bosch style" injector. Will these fit a stock DSM fuel rail, or will I have to turn them down as mentioned previously. If they won't fit without modification, I don't want them.
