OK. Here is my problem. I installed my AFC two days ago and set up everything like I was supposed to. However, I noticed that my throttle % on my AFC does not move. My logger shows accurate throttle % (0 at idle and 96% at WOT). So, I had assumed that I had a bad connection for the TPS wire for the AFC. Wrong. The grey wire from the AFC is now soldered to the brown/red wire and still no change. The AFC is set to 4Cyl and arrow up and on the etc menu sensor check I am getting a voltage reading. I cant remember what it was at this time but it was constantly changing.

Does anyone know a fix for this problem?

If I can't figure out this problem can I still tune with the AFC if the throttle is 0 and not changing?

not sure about the AFC but you might wana use your datalogger to fine tune your TPS so it reads 100% at WOT

What does the voltage reading on the SAFC do?

Break out a multimeter, and test the wire that you soldered the AFC to, with the motor off but the key on "on," and see if the voltage cycles from 1-5 volts, depending on the throttle position.

Sounds like you grabbed the wrong wire.

I tapped into the brown/red wire on the top ecu connector with the grey afc wire. I will check the voltage tomorrow. I don't think the voltage was as high as 1 on the afc earlier but, I'll check again and use the multimeter to check it also.

I'm not too concerned about wot reading at this time. I just got my car back from a week of blown headgasket and crankwalk and I'm more concerned about the AFC and a PO300 code right now. I'll adjust the throttle later.
Thanks

I just checked the voltage reading for my throttle on the AFC and it moves between 0.025v and 0.035v without touching the throttle. After sitting a while it moved up to 0.035v-0.040v. It does not chance with throttle position. I started the car and it read about 0.05v.

I also tested the tps wire at the ecu and it ranged from .75 at normal throttle position to 4.03 at wot. I assumed this meant that my tps wasn't working properly so I tested it and got no change on one of ther terminals when throttle was opened up.

Would a bad TPS cause my AFC to read 0.00% eventhough there is some voltage reading on the wire and my logger shows a throttle position?

AFC is fixed. I took the back off of the AFC and found that the connection was loose. It was enough to allow the AFC to function but loose enough to cause my problem. I snapped it back into place, put the cover back on it, put it back in the car and it works now.
