where can i get a egt probe

Ok i have an autometer ultra lite egt gauge and i need the probe for it. Where can i get an autometer probe or a probe that will fit my gauge?

You can get one through anywhere that sells the gauge. You probably won't find it online though. Just call them and ask they'll have it. Option 2 I have one i'm trying to get rid of it's autometer brand new still in the box. let me know, and i'll figure out a price if you want it.

Not that I know of. $45 for an EGT probe is not bad

The only downside of the TRE probe is that is has an expected life of 10k miles. How long do the Autometer probes last?

10k miles = 3 synthetic oils changes - DIY roughly $22x3=$66
10k miles = 1 EGT probe $45. Doesn't seem that bad to me.

I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything it just doesn't seem like that much money to me for something that lasts that long. The autometers cost just as much and aren't nearly as fast.
