after 6 k it hesitates...

ok guys why does my car hesitate and fall on its face after 6k.. im guessing it just needs a basic tune up.. any help would be appreciated

Do you have any mods. You list it as stock is that still true? We need more info. Do you have a logger? Could be spark plugs, plug wires, boost leek, fuel cut, ETC Could be anything!!

Well considering there is a 150K on your motor, and its need of a tune up, i'd say its just the fact that the engine and car is old, and probably doesnt want to pull past 6k. just a hunch though.

Change your spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, and do an oil change. If you still have problems do a boost leak test, compression check, and make sure your base timing is set correctly. Good luck...

If its stock, it needs a bisc tune up. (could be from the basics of even a DIRTY fuel filter.

But if modded, my old one use 2 do that with a hacked Box/and a 3" Intake pipe and big 16g and no other mods. .
