I have a hahnracecraft super 20g turbo, 625cc injectors, bbk 255ph fuel pump, and venting to the atmosphere with a turbo xs type rfl bov. The settings hahn gave me for the s-afc are causing me to run way rich....like i held a zippo to my exhaust and revved it and had a 4 foot fireball come out. I was wondering if anyone had a 20g with 625cc injectors, and if so, what are your settings for the s-afc. Keep in mind that i dont have my bost controller hooked up, and therefore running 17-19psi on 93 octane gas. Yeh my airfuel guage is maxed out on rich....:(

Do you have a logger? If you do not have a logger, then you should not even try to tune.

I personally do not know why vendors even try to get away with giving you SAFC settings, every car is so unique, and there are so many variables, that even baseline settings are pretty much useless.

Alright, I'm new to tuning and dont have pocket logger yet.......if I just want to lean it out a little which way do I go. Right now my throttle % for high is 60 and my low is 35...........do I want to increase those % or decrease the % in order to lean it out .......Thanks, Kev B

Asking questions like that tells me you should read on how the S-AFC works. Your throttle points don't "lean" anything. Wait till you have a logger in the car, and read up in the meantime.

Good call Kris.

The fact that you do not even know what the throtle point settings do, tells me that you should not be allowed to have a SAFC in your car. Go read, then read some more, and when you're done that, try to read for a while.

Then get a logger.

Then get back to us.

Now Kyle....on to my settings with 660s and a 20g :p

yo, i have a ported/clipped 20g with 660 cc injectors and most of my high throttle settings are around -35% all i have are egt's for tuning so i have no idea where knock is. even my low throttle ettings are negative 30's cuz my car runs way rich and even with the car leaned like that, i still shoot fire between gears at wot. i would make ur high throttle around 75% and keep ur low throttle around 35-40%, i run 22 psi daily on my 95 tsi awd with stock internals. i also have a big fmic. but in my opinion you should get a logger which is sumthin i must get too. and i def hope u at least have a egt gauge

Thanks man ...thats helps alot

what are good loggers for the 2G? Is the pocket logger in the parts catalog on the site any good? Thanks

Pocketlogger is a great product with great support. DSMlink is very poular with the 2g guys due to its range of tunability (is that a word?).

Adjustability would work fine too ;) :D.

Either of those would be great, but how does the pocketlogger hook up to a palm? I have a handspring visor (palm OS), and im not sure it can hook up to a handspring, will have to look into it. I have a 95 eclipse, and the DSMlink seens like the best option. I think the AFC is good, but to have a real standalone is the best option, imo.

My new question is, how hard is it to un-install a super AFC? I got it put on in Chicago, but now im in AZ, would a tuner shop bi*** about taking it off?
