Now that the MAF Translator has been out a while, I'm looking for some opinions. I know a lot of people have tried both and some use them together. I'm looking to only buy one(right now).
Here's my project:
I'm getting ready to buy a 20g and 650 injectors. Of course I need a fuel controller.
Which of these would be the best to get first(some people use both)?
Catagories
1. ease of installation
2. user friendly(tuning ease)
3. gets you on the road running great the quickest
4. tech support
5. best bang for the buck

maft.

1. 2 plugs to plug in and one wire to tap. No messing with ecu wires or cutting anything.
2. 4 dipswitches and 5 knobs and a fairly decent users guide. easy enough
3. plug it in and go.
4. the yahoo group is great and already has quite an archive built up. Also mike and kevin (the 2 ramchargers guys) have always been available when I call.
5. depends on how you do it. for my maft, all I bought was couplers (~$10), maft ($200), and a used 3.5" sensor ($60). I made my blow through ucip from my old dave brode one and modified my filter to fit onto a tube for the turbo.
