I did a search and wasn't able to come up with what the max boost a person could run on the profec-B?

I read in some of the old posts that there is a difference in max boost that can be run on internally gated vs externally gated??

A friend of mine is trying to decide on an electronic controller, but plans on running a lot of boost, so if anyone knows of another electronic controller that can handle lots of boost, feel free to chime in.

Thanks for the help.

I've always heard that the max boost is somewhere around double the spring pressure in the case of an external wg. Not sure with an internal gate.

What are you basing this on?

Thanks for the reply. Let me see if I understand correctly. You can only run 25 psi because the profec limits you, or you choose to run a max boost of 25psi on your own accord?

Thanks :D

New style profec B can run something ridiculous like 43psi. Old style, which I have is limited to 25psi (HKS standard off o2 housing, using both ports). RRE has great pricing on the new style profec.
