So wired it to the ECU per the VFAQ. Car ran great for about 20 miles then, it starts to hesitate around the 3-4K range. It is kind of weird, almost seems like the IC hose popped-off. That kind of feeling. I havn't touched ANY of the settings on the AFC. Just plugged it in. Do u guys suppose it is just bad connections...

Thanks in advance
Desi

Yeah, a little tweaking sounds like a good idea. Just play with the settings until it runs right, that is how the real racers tune.

In truth:

If the SAFC is hooked up correctly, the modes arfe set up correctly, and the fuel maps are all at 0%, then there should be no change whatsoever on the way the car drives,

If it feels like an IC got loose, why not check the IC pipes?

Generally, when a SAFC fails to work correctly, then it will make the car run VERY badly, and flash a check engine light for the MAS.

I set everything to 0 like you guys recommended and the car runs like normal again. Thanks. Another question, the pressure reading, is that the intake manifold pressure or is that like vacuum pressure ie. BOOST? On the AVCR, the "pressure" reading is boost. What should this reading be on the AFC because my stays very very constant...

thanks

Only works on a pressure based system. Not a Karmann MAF.

damn, that would have been really sweet. Now, as far as tuning, just drive the car, mess with the AFC until it runs strong or is there some sort of upgrade path?

Desi

oh my your in for a treat.... Keep i at zero until you get some sort of logging device.

Also how about filling out your mod list in your profile. If you don't take the time to fill that out, why should people take the time to help you know.

ah hah, thanks eclipse, DONE
