Daly City,
Im bout to race this weekend at Sac. I have my street setting for my S-AFC set at 1.45 on pump gas with EGT's at 850C on a long 3rd gear run. Im going to raise the boost to 1.65 - 1.70 bar on 117 octane gas. Is it safe to leave my SAFC settings alone since ill be going to race gas, and rasing the boost just a bit? Let me know what you guys think. My current AFC Settings w/ 720cc injectors, 20G w/ supporting mods are:

1000 2000 3000 4000 5000 5500 6000 7000

-36 -35 -41 -40 -43 -42 -39 -38

I just dont want to detonate or be toooooo lean. Plus its my first time using race gas and going on the track since the car was stock!

Thanks for all the support.

I'd run even more boost than that on race gas. I'm a Kick their ass as much as I can person. I run 2 bar all day on race gas and 660's. Crank that sh!t up. Just keep an eye on your egt's and timing if you have a logger. 7 bolts will hold a hell of a lot more than what people think. lots of guys banging out over 400 at the wheels on stock bottom ends.

So you guys think I should go higher? I dont have a logger and only have an EGT Gauge. 2.0 bar on a stock bottom end? Hmm......Kinda scary? Let me know what you guys think of 25-26 psi on race and afc settings left alone. I d adjust it of course if im too rich or too lean.

I wouldn't go over 24 psi without head studs. Anything more and you might risk lifting the head and blowing a head gasket.

thanks for reminding me. i forgot i got stock head studs. ill probably go 24psi til i get new studs in. plus no logger . I just want to break the 12's and Im done. I hope my mods and all my practicing would be enough to do this.
