I have a westach EGT guage and I installed it on my new setup after using it on my old set up for quite some time, but now it doesn't work nearly as well.

It goes up to about 400F when I floor it, and I know my car isn't making EGT's that low. I did however, in attempt to undo it from my old setup grab a part of it with pliers (Didn't mean to grab the line from the probe to the guage, but I did)

So I assume I crimped the line and it isn't getting the proper responce back... so my question is: How can I fix that?? Or will I need a new line

I had the same symptoms you have. In my case the probe broke off and went thru the turbine blades which basically ruined them. I would check the probe out.
