pocketlogger connection problem

Pocketlogger program won't stay connected. I tried to do a couple of logs and the logger program will not stay connected. I made sure all the cables were in good and it still would lose connection. I am also getting an error code "Fatal Exception" and I have to reset my palm.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

This ended up being a cheap palm problem. new palm. problem fixed.
