Question About Srs - Anythign To Do With Dsm Link?

I got the DSM LINK just couple weeks ago, and all the sudden the SRS sign came on couple days ago. It still goes on every time I turn on the car now and stays on. Is there something wrong with the airbag system or is the computer throwing it off. Should i go to Mitsubishi dealership and get it checked out or is it something I dont really have to worry about. How much is Mitsubishi goign to charge to fix something like this. Couple of people i talked to said they got the blinking and the sign come on and off. What do you guys think I should do. I also get the ANTILOCK light on all the time, I can manually override it witht he DSM LINK right?

Do you have some kind of datalogger, in addition to the DSMLink? I know that, at least with 1g's, if anything is plugged into the diagnostics port, the ECU goes into test mode and the ABS turns off, triggering that light.

The SRS should have nothing to do with DSMlink, have a dealership check it out. Just be careful, since you have the DSMLink chip and such, they don't usually take kindly to that sort of stuff.

Don't have any other data logger. I have the 6 bolt motor in there. I just have the DSMLINK hooked up along with AFC and AVCR. The Mitsubishi dealerships around me are A-holes about aftermarket stuff. I dont really like the dealerships with anything. Any other suggestions?
