Hey guys, So I had a previous thread. It kind of died. No one else is replying but me but to avoid confusion, I'm gonna start a new one and I believe I've narrowed it down quite a bit.
To recap:
-Fresh GAS
-Fresh Plugs, BPR7ES .028" gapped
-Tried different PTUs
-Checked spark plug wires for arching and schocks
-Did a boost leak to 25+psi
-No vacuum leaks on intake tube
-Checked compression, 150 all 4 (Little low but OK)
-I pulled the ECU and everything looks good (no bad caps, or bunt ground traces etc)
My mods:
- 6 Bolt
- 2g 609 MAF
- FIC 650
- Wally 190
- DSMLink V1
Additional Notes:
- Deadtime 210us
- Idle 850RPM set in Link
- Invert CAS
- TPS volts and % in check
- Cam marks line up
SYMPTONS
!!Rough IDLE and UNDER BOOST!!
Notes @ IDLE:
- Rough Idle around 550-650RPM
- MAF ~21Hz, 0.19gm/rev <- I believe this is important to notice!
- Timing at 13.1 steady <- shouldnt be that
- 16 inHg <- autometer gauge, off a little tho
Notes @ BOOST:
- MAF Hz climbs to ~500hz around 3500RPM then drops to ~60hz once it gets into ~5+psi boost <- I believe this is important to notice!
- Car boogs hard
- Showed an IAT error in LINK (only once though)
CAR DOES NOT RUN WITH MAF UNPLUGGED <- WHY IS THAT???
!!!I ACQUIRED ANOTHER 609 MAF AND IT DID NO RESOLVE THE ISSUE!!!
- Rewired MAF ground (was 20Ohm, now 1.8Ohm)
- Pin 3&4 show their correct voltages (I believe it was pin 3&4)
- Connector seemed fine and rust free
- All pins on MAF show low Ohms(2<) all the way to the ECU
I hope I supplied all relevant information!!

**NOTE** I'd love to supply a log, but the really old laptop has no internet and USB thumb drives don't work (Windows 98).
