my car is a 92 talon auto. with full 3in exhaust, FP header, wally 255 and afpr , new fuel filter, MBC and boost gauge, a k&n and dejon tool intake. full emissions delete.

what im logging is ill goose it and around 3000 rpm right as im getting into full boost my knock count jumps from 0 up to 20 some times 28 counts but usally about 14-15 then slowly step down in number. till i let off but the higher the rpm the less counts of knock.

ok so im chocking my knock problem up to heat soak and lifter tick and a tiny boost leak. all ive done new o2, knock sensor, properly gapped at 28 ngkbpr7es new ngk wires. turned boost down to stock pressure this seemed to help a tiny bit not seeing as high of counts but still there. my lifter tick is decently loud. especially when fully warm and the oils thinner. also my IC inlet gets almost hot to the touch after like 20 mins of driving and i have one boost leak behinde where the throttle cable connects. car runs great when cool almost no knock

also im logging with mmcd and cant post because i need an adapter to connect my pocket logger to my laptop. also my low fuel trims are always in the 128-134% my mids and highs are always 100%. thanks for helping

???any thing???

I don't get what you're asking. You say you're getting heatsoak, so why not try out a bigger I/C? Until then, you'll have to turn the boost down.

ok so i did another boost leak and found two leaks i must have missed on my last test. i had some corrosion on my upper inter cooler air was leaking out of. i JB welded the whole upper pipe because it was pretty chewed up. also a good one at my BISS. i have to get a new o- ring. ill post back with result's.
