Well, I decided to go ahead an purchase a AFPR setup. Here is what I bought:

1) Aeromotive AFPR part # AEI-13109 30-70psi http://store.summitracing.com/defau...art&Part=AEI-13109&Search.x=1&SearchType=Both

This has -6 AN fittings for both inlet and outlet and a 1/8th NPT gauge.

2) Summit Racing liquid filled fuel guage
http://store.summitracing.com/defau...t&Part=SUM-800199'&Search.x=1&SearchType=Both

3) Diamondstarmotorsports Billet -6 AN fuel rail adaptor
http://www.diamondstarmotorsport.com/fuelparts.shtml

4) 90 degree -6 AN swivel female to female fitting
http://store.summitracing.com/defau...rt&Part=EAR-934106&Search.x=1&SearchType=Both

Anything else I might possibly want to buy? I know SS Braided lines if I really want to go all out. Opinions?

Thanks,

It appears that you have what you'll need for the job, but i have a question for you too. How exactly will that hook up? I saw there's 3 inlet or outlet locations, does something get blocked off....? Also, is that silver nipple used for the fuel pressure vacuum hose? I'm curious because I might use this setup instead of my charged air fpr that's never going to arrive..... Thanks.

2 inlets, 1 outlet, (some cars have 2 fuel rails) All you do is block it off with a 6 an plug. BESURE to use a non flared oring plug. If you get one with the flare you will need to cut off the flare. VFAQ.com has a good report on this under the fuel section.

as for what else you will need. a bit more. The thing you just ordered is the red and silver thing. Those 3 black 6 AN "radiused pump fittings" are not included. Sorry bro. Earls has some blue ones for like $7 ea. 2 are needed., if you want black ones you will need the aeromotive ones, ( I got them and they have a bigger and smoother port on the non flared end, when compared to the earls. but they are $13 ea. If you plan on mounting hte FPR off the 90 you got then you will need another fitting to connect the hose ot the outlet (bottom ) port. the strainght swivel seal end can be had for $6. with that you will need a few feet of 6an line. Jegs and summit only sell a minumim of 3 ft @$15-21. so lets added it up. $20 hose, $20 fittings, orings ($10 from jegs), cap $6, plus the jegs/ summit 10 handle charge, and 1.80 rual shipping (they say free but look close at the bottom) Bam $70. but that thing weights a shit load, and wait till you see the size. You may want to mount it on the fire wall. I did. If that route is taken, then you got a few more fittings, and a little more hose.

Do your self a favor and go to the VFAQ. You will see what you will need. later bros

But does the info on the VFAQ allow a AFPR or just larger line going into the fuel raiL? Where can i find the best AFPR/gauge available? I'm in need of a little upgrade.
Marcus

You will need a 1G rail, teh 2G rail is SIMPLY too long and will not clear the Cover for the cam gears. How do I know?? I have teh same FPR on my 2G TSI.

It will ALSO hit the break fluid resoviour, but you can easilly move it so......
