Ok guys I need some help. My 92 eclipse 2.0 n/t with a turbo won't start. I have fuel and spark, timing is good and it pops once the first time I try to start it. Any suggestions?

Well... you had me do some thinking and got it running. The adjustment I did with the biss probably caused my problems. The plugs were fuel soaked, so i cleaned them reinstalled and started it up. Thanks for your helped.
First we need some more info. Was the car running before? If so what have you changed? Did you check the firing order and make sure the plug wires are on correctly? Have you ran a compression check? If so what were your compression readings. You say you are getting fuel , but how much fuel. Have you checked fuel pressure? If you dont have a gauge most auto parts stores will loan you one for a refundable deposit. Are the plugs wet with fuel? If so check your coolant temp sensor and curcuit. 1g cars will dump way too much fuel if the coolant temp sensor or circuit fails. Are the plugs fouled?

Thanks for your reply. Yes the car ran. Haven't ran a compression test recently and I unscrewed the top bolt on the fuel filter to verify fuel. I did close the fiav with the screw behind the plug and adjusted the idle screw. I put new wires on 1 at a time. The car was a project and everytime I try to take 1 step forward I always get kicked 2 steps back. I had decided I'm not gonna let the car beat me, but now I have my doubts. The car has yet to make it to the streets except for a spin around the block.

Ok let's start here. Just because there is fuel going to the rail doesn't mean its coming out the injectors. You need to verify this by at least turning it over a few times and then pull the plugs and look for fuel. Another way that this can be done is to pull the fuel rail out far enough to see the inj tips and then have a friend turn it over a few times. !CAUTION! Remember. This is gas. Extremely dangerous. If you don't have a friend to help you just pull your cas and turn it over by hand with the ignition on.

Now, with that said. I would double and triple check those plug wires. It is very easy to mix them up.
