Hey guys, I have been tuning the GSX, and finally got installed my GM 3-Bar, and still working on setting the UEGO (another project), but also dialed in my idle settings perfectly. Now, it's time to dial in my cruise settings. The issue about this is, under low throttle/vacuum conditions, the car will enter open loop on its own! I have driven the car around un-tuned before (bad idea I know), but never had this problem, just cycled under closed loop conditions.

Is there something I accidentally FUBARed? or Accidentally selected to cause this issue? Here's a log as an example. Thanks guys!

Just fyi, at 7.85 seconds you are at 3500rpm with a load factor of 1.00. Go into the openloop thresh holds DA table and check the immediate category: Its true, it should indeed be in open loop. Its not doing anything its not supposed to. You can change that if youd like and set the limits higher, but it has its own risks.
In other areas your exceeding the TPS% to stay in open loop. If any of those criteria are met then you dont get closed loop.
From such a small snap shot i dont think you have a problem at all to be honest.
If something is wrong with airflow, like REALLY wrong, this could effect your loadfactor reading maybe, but i dont think thats the case.

Hmmm, from what both of you guys are saying, my TPS sensor seems to be out of whack. Everytime I do a "Calibrate TPS" A different value comes up :S So quite possibly a faulty TPS at this point?

RESOLVED: Sorry for the late reply guys. The TPS was reading .61volts via link, couldn't settle it at .63, but if I am not mistaken, I do have some leniency between voltage correct? like +/- .02v? for example?

The issue was a loose throttle cable at the cruise control box, causing a very sloppy accelerator pedal feel.

Personally, i think mine is set at like .53. Its a ways off but runs and idles perfect. Goes from 0 to 100 tps value and the idle switch works. Never had a problem. I just twist it while watching idlsw in link til it turns from 0 to 1 then leave it there and tps adjust via link if needed iirc.
