Motoguys ECU

Ok so i have an option of buying a motoguys ecu for a 2g or a 95 eclipse gst ecu eprom. but needs to be socketed for around the same price. one is $95 the other is $120. both are in working order. Wanted to buy an ecu so i can order ecmlink. the guy says that the moto ecu is ready for dsmlink. but how would i know for sure. . going to choose one today since one guys is selling both of them. so my main concern is. if i buy the moto ecu , will ecmlink work? or would i still have to send it in?

To know if it is ready for DSMlink, you just have to open up the ecu and look for a chip that says "DSMlink v2" or whatever version it is. should be in the bottom right corner of the ecu. Ask him to send you a picture if you dont have access to the ECU

ok.. he said it was detachable . and that when i get the chip from ecmlink that i can just swap it out no soldering required. i will ask him for a pic right now.

"Yea.Its detachable so when u get link, just swap manually. no soldering required. cost me 380.00"

bought $130.. just need money for ecmlink
