old s-afc

someone told me that the old style s-afc has some sort thing it can do that the new style can't. has anyone ever heard this?if so what is it? by the way i have 92 tsi-- vpc/550 inj./old s-afc/ b16g/ alamo side mount/ uicp and licp / 255 fp/ water injection/ act 2600/ 2g manifold/ ported and dumped o2/ all gauges. thanks

Let's see; it has knobs that pop out - the new ones can't do that. They light up too, which is cool. 8)

use it as a wedge to hold your side panel up???? hehe um as far as I know there isnt anything special about the safc I. It has 5 adjustable knobs that turn green, yellow, and red as you go thru the power band. It can adjust from i think -20% to +20% give or take 10%.
