I was just wondering if anyone is using a small netbook to tune with dsmlink, i have a dell inspiron with a 17 inch screen and thought about getting a netbook to just leave in my car just for tuning on. I think one would be pretty handy instead of a big bulky laptop, let me know what you guys think!

Yup. I have a HP Mini 1035NR and it works fine. Word of advice, don't get the SSD unless you want to swap it out for a bigger faster one (VERY easy to do). The boot up speed is HORRIBLE on the factory SSD. Plus, I find that with the 10.1" screen it is perfect for running DSM/ECMLink.

Getting a netbook solely for running dsmlink is a good option. They are cheap, semi fast and they are cheap. Did I mention they are cheap? That's the only reason I got my Mini, to tune Link.

I'm using an Asus 10 inch Netbook with mine and I love it.
It's the perfect size to use in the car.

I'm running an ASUS Eee PC 900 and absolutely love it. This model has the embedded 4GB primary SSD drive and boots pretty quick. From a cold start (full boot), I can have ECMLink up and working in about 25-30 seconds. The secondary 8GB drive sucks. That will be replaced eventually.

My issue with the 900 is the keyboard size. Definitely go slightly larger (1000 perhaps) if you plan to actually type on the thing. I don't ever use the keyboard, so it's not a problem.

I do, however, use one of the little Logitech nano cordless mice and LOVE that too. Definitely pricey, though. But worth every penny. I've never had a cordless mouse work so flawlessly and that micro USB adapter is absolutely awesome. I HATE track pads, so this is a must for me.
