Anybody have any "inside information" on when this is going to be released for DSMs? As of now all I see on the announcement page is a lite version for early EVOs.

As soon after the EVO3 release as we possibly can. I promise.

And just to be clear, we're not just wasting time on the EVO Lite version. We're learning some lessons that will apply directly to the DSM Lite release as well. Feature sets that make sense, things we need to add to pull it all together in a coherent package, and even the serious consideration of adding speed density to the Lite release... So this is all good stuff, even if we're not directly working on the DSM code yet.

The DSM code should port much faster anyway just because we already have that all laid out.

Speed density would be sweet! I'm kinda bummed you guys put more priority toward the EVO guys, in terms of this new lite version. Like you said...you already have the code laid out for the DSM implementation and you could work out the kinks through testing :) Eh, I'm just being impatient...Keep up the awesome work guys and thanks for the response!

Yes, I know. But we started the EVO3 work nearly 3 years ago! We just never had time to finish it.

What is this lite version you speak of? I just ordered me a v3 package.
The "lite" version is something we mentioned a few months back in one of our announcements-type threads. The idea is to provide a simplified package that provides all the core functions most people need (injector compensation, rev limits, stutter box, knock control, fuel and timing adjustments in the stock tables, etc.) along with our higher speed logging functions in package that can be upgraded to a full version later with a simple firmware upgrade.
