Logging cable feature?

I am looking at logging cables on ebay and there is one that looks promising the sealer says the cable has an auto-on feature and i have never heard of it before is this true or a fake.

It is a true feature that almost all newer cables people make have. You just leave the cable always plugged in and you good to go.
