Hey everybody,
My car's is just starting then dying. It'll rev up like normal, then no matter how hard you press on the gas pedal, it will die in 5 seconds - those 5 secons shown below. I've replaced the caps in the computer and it made no difference. So I went ahead and took a log, with the following results at start up (I pressed on the gas a little while starting it up this time).
Here are my results: (my middle and high fuel trims were exactly the same as low trim) pressure and air temp were constant.

I've never diagnosed a problem with the logging software, so I'm not sure if anything looks abnormal (besides the -26 coolant temp!).

Any insight would be much appreciated. SHould all my fuel trims be at 98.8% for the entire time??

Your rpms show 2219 but your tps shows 18.4%. I'd clean/replace your tps and go from there.
 
Like you pointed out, it looks like your coolant temp sensor is shot. If I remember correctly, the 2g bottoms out at -40 degrees, at which point my Spyder wouldn't start. As soon as I replaced the sensor, which was about $26, she fired right up. I'm guessing the low point for the 1g is the -26 degrees yours is reading.

I would start there, unless it's -26 degrees at your house. :p
 
Sorry to revive an old-ish post.
It's common for the coolant temp sensor wires to rot off where they go into the sensor. If the ecu thinks it's really cold it'll use extra rich startup fuel maps, which don't work so good when it's not that cold. You can find the coolant temp sensor located on the bottom of the thermostat housing, it has two wires coming out of it.

To fix it, unplug the plug and cut it off, throw the plug away, strip off a little bit of the wire insulation, and crimp on a couple of new spade connectors on the end. It's quick and easy. HTH.
