Hey guys

I have a quick question i am working on my buddies 1990 talon and its having issues with ignition firing. Its only running on 1 and 4. We swapped coil packs wth a good known working coil and same thing. Changed power transistor and the same thing happens. Coil is getting power both on a test light and volt meter. I tested the ecu out with a good ecu out of my talon and same thing. This just happened out of the blue and i am not sure what else it could be......is it possible its the cam angle sensor?

thanks for any input this is 10 hours of search and troubleshooting coming down to finally asking for help =(

thanks

there is no crank position sensor on a 1g, well there is but its encorperated into the cam angle sensor. I made sure that the coil was getting power and its just not getting the signal from the ecu for some reason

Ecu pin 55, top middle pin on the mid size connector, is the wire for the power transistor that goes to cylinder's 2 & 3. He may have burnt out or cut the wiring in between. I would trace that wire and check for continuity.
