What's a new O2 sensor data supposed to look like?

I was under the impression that it's supposed to look like a sine wave. It's certainly a wave but it looks like noise to me???? Is this normal?? My old worn out one definitely looked like a sine wave but was slow.

Sorry for posting in the wrong area.

No takers on this one or am I in uncharted waters here? Maybe I haven't waited long enough though. I have to call the manufacturer today and wanted to make sure I wasn't questioning something that was actually normal.

Newer O2 sensors will oscillate (transition) faster than older, worn ones. I'd really like to see the time base on that trace, but basically it looks ok to me

Well your looking at about 29 seconds of data.... this pic is the same scale and the same amount of time but it is the old sensor. The new one seems *extremely overly* jumpy... but I have nothing to compare it to. That's why I'm here asking. My trims move quite a bit more which is understandable. But how does one tune trims with an AFC when they move around so much? (I haven't searched on this yet... so feel free to ignore that question or insert the usual comment of 'use the red button ;) ...) I just got one for christmas but didn't get a chance to install it yet.
