After replacing my transmission and upgraded my fuel injectors to 1000cc. Now my car wont start. It cranks but wont start.

Heres what I've checked so far:
1: All sensors are plugged in and functioning
2: All four plugs are sparking
3: All injectors are firing, fuel squirting on all four injectors
4: The timing belt is timed right
5: Compression checked on all 4 cyl's are 185psi

Is there anything else I need to checked? Anybody can help, I appreciate it. Thanks for time and space.

I have 90 talon tsi, with SAFC, Maf translator, Gm Maf, chipped ecu, 1000cc injectors PTE,

Cam angle sensor is on the right spot. The injectors are being compensate from Maf translator.

My chip is already compensated at 780cc and I adjusted my translator to 680cc wich will bring me close to 1000cc. I used to run 780cc and my translator was in 450cc, since my chip is already compensated.

Here's what I just recently found out. When I checked my injectors squirting it was out. I jump the fuel pump and jump a 12vdc on the injectors individually and all of them squirt.
Now that's in the car only one of them squirts wich inj#2. I have a 90 talon with a resistor pack wich means it only sending less than 12vdc in the injectors wires. Would that mean anything.

My injectors are from PTE and the part number in the injectors is 17113744. I checked it and it is 1000cc. But the question is, is it for my car or is it for a non resistor pack car. It's definitely the injectors now.

I finally got it to start but it adles really bad. And it wont even rev higher. I took all the plug wires while running and only #2 cyl is reacting to it. But all is firing. I took the injector wirings and only #2 cyl is also responding. I check all the voltage from the wires and its all sending voltage but really low, co'z of the resistor pack.

So my conclusion as of now is cyl #2 is the only one squirting. Oh theres' another thing. I check the resistance from each injectors and #2 has 20ohms and #1, #3 and #4 has 8ohms.

This is gotta be the injectors right. I already sent this back out from PTE and went back with a flow sheet saying its all working. But from the flow sheet its showing they used
13.8V to test it.

The car only start when I set my translator to 450cc, that's when I did all the test when it was idling rough. If I go higher than that it will not start. But all three injectors is definitely not firing. I unplugged all 3 and left #2 cyl and it's the same rough idling.

Hope I didn't confuse you guys. But let me know if you have any suggestion. Thanks

It's definitely the injectors. I installed a stock injectors and it runs. Why cant' I run this PTE 1000cc injectors? Can anybody tell me that. And how can I run it? Do I need to bypass my resistor pack?

I think you're pulling too much fuel, the PTE 1000's are actually 950's. I don't know how the settings work on the translator, but see if you can set it for 650's instead of 680's.

I would also verify that fuel pressure is where it's supposed to be, if it's off it's going to throw all of the corrections off. Ideally you should get the chip modified to compensate for the larger injectors and ditch the MAF-T for a 2g or Evo maf, they are a lot easier to tune with.

Vary true, but the Maf-t allows for fine tuning that can be quite helpful with the aid of a logger/WB/EGT guage.

I have all of these tools. The only problem is how can I tune it if it wont even start. The only thing I haven't done is to play around with the set up on the translator. Maybe I should try to do that.

But the last time that it was in my car the car started with rough idling. And my wideband is reading LEAN, I pulled out #1, #3, #4 and the car didn't changed. But when I pulled the #2 cyl. It died. That's telling me that its only firing on #2cyl. All the plug wires are firing so ignition is good. It means fuel is not squirting on those cylinders.

What do you guys think about that.

OK finally, I got the injector running right. I played around with the settings on the translator. And it worked. What happened is I adjusted the translator too much that the injectors are not opening enough time to squirt enough fuel and closed too soon. So with my chip being compensated for 780cc already I ended up with 650cc on my translator to get it to start with a fine idle and perfect AFR. Now all I have to do is to tune the new injectors on WOT and it's a done deal.

I just wanna say thanks to everyone helping on this thread.
