Hey Everyone,

For those of you that plan on taking your car to a local tuner with a dyno, here are some tips to make sure your session goes as smooth as possible. You would never believe what we have seen coming in and out of our shop in the past, so do your tuner and yourself a favor and check these items/options before strapping down on the dyno.:thumb:

+1 Very good info for first timers goin to a dyno, like myself, LOL. But also, alot of it is just common sense.

Sometimes bad luck strikes anyways. I had 2 brand-new (1 week old) hoses rupture on my car as it was idling, warming up to be next on the dyno! :-(

Yes, we've seen this sort of thing happen before as well. These types of checklists are not meant to bring you the most glorious problem-free tuning session, but to help REDUCE problems overall. DSMs are plagued with problems to begin with, this is just to cut back on a few. This list is also good for folks that are about to go out racing at the track or people about to take a long cruise/drive. The last thing I'd want would be to be stranded on the side of the freeway (I see plenty of DSMs there), let's try to keep them on the road longer.
