question about the MAFT red light on during operation causing running issues??

okay I have a MAFT v2.xx and a 3" gm maf the car idles great cruises great and all that BUT as soon as I floor te throttle and it gets to 5,700 rpms the red light on the maft comes on and the car acts like it is on a 2 step and will not pass it. the AUX function is turned off on the MAFT and all dial are zeroed since I am tuning with an AFC I have read the complete users manual and have seen nothing that resembles my problems. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening. I am almost 100% certain my issues lye within the maft just because the split second the red light comes on the car starts messing up bad.

Have you done a boost leak test or anything?

yes boost leak check is perfect nothing at all.. and these parts have been replaced.
