cyclone intake not working?

How would you know if your cyclone intake manifold is not working properly?
Im having doubts that the secondaries in the cyclone intake dont open.
Im having a little of hesitation around 4k rpm under boost(14psi 14b). No misfire and it doesnt feel like its running out of fuel.

Are you just activating it by RPM or by boost/rpm combined? If it's just rpm, set it really low, like 1k, and rev it up at idle. Stand by the manifold and listen. It should be pretty obvious if the secondaries open. Then set it back up to whatever you want.

If you're using the stock JDM ecu, I think that it activates purely by RPM, around 4k. Maybe that's what's going on.

Im using the stock JDM ECU that came with the JDM gVR4 cylone engine.
Im not sure if the vac lines are correct. Yes, from what I know, it should activate around 4k. what will I look for?.. to see if activates. Should It open even revving it at neutral?
