So I got my car down to P&L Motorsports today for their dyno day. To make a long story short, I'm a little dissapointed in what the car put down, but it needs a good tuning. My mods are: ported 14b, ported 2g manifold, evo3 o2, 3" turboback, stock sidemount, uicp, 2g mas, 550s, 190 pump, and afc neo.

On 20 lbs slowly dropping to 18, it put down 251.55 whp and 270.78 wtq. My a/f ratios were pegged rich almost the entire run. So I know it needs tuning, and possibly may have a boost leak, but for the 14b and stock sidemount I guess it didn't do too bad.

Judging by the Fact that you couldn't hold boost and you were pig rich I would say you have a boost leak. This is why you always check BEFORE you go to the Dyno. :thumb:

Thats just the thing, I have checked for leaks and found nothing, and even took the car to Devo Tuning and they found no leaks either, so who knows LOL. It's not like the boost was dropping all that fast either. I twould spool up to 20psi by 3k and from 6k to 7k it would slowly drop to 18 psi. My 2g mas is also missing the side honeycombs, so that may be causing some problems, but hey, I got it for free LOL.

It was only 3 baseline runs, but I'm friends with the guy that dynoed my car, so I had him lean it out after the first 2 runs, and it was still rich. I really dont wanna mess with it much until I get a wideband. Either way, the car pulls hard and smooth, and I'd rather be rich than lean anyways.

nice man...I wish i knew how much i dyno'd back when i had the 14b....

on my unported 14b that i got off the junk yard, I ran a 12.6 on 20psi with a mild datalogger tune and a SAFC2...get a good tune and you should reach your goal.

Thats normal, the 14b cant flow enough air to HOLD that much boost past 6-7k rpm
