Any of you guys that are running big fuel pumps know how much it rasies your pressure in the line? I know they over flow the stock FPR. What effects does it have on the car?

No. But it does alot, since I just installed a FPR and set the pressure to 42 psi and now I have to add alot of fuel back in at higher rpms were is was originally rich from the FRP overrun.

Later,

Same here the car felt a lot smoother and it was much easier to tune with the addition of the fpr. The 255 I had in their was overrunning the regulator by a lb or two.

Thanks guys, so you guys think an aftermarket FPR is a good idea? What are some good aftermarket FPRs that you guys suggest?

I have an AEM fpr. To install that you have to weld an an fitting to the end of your fuel rail. I think this looks great it is also very easy to adjust and read your fp. There is also the spoolin fpr this is much easier to install but I don’t have an direct experience with it.

Bolt-on,Lowest price, adjusts pressure up or down.

Well today I was playing with my spare FPR I had for my 2G. I found a way to modify it to flow more fuel, the only problem I have now is if I leave it installed I will be running lean, it is at 39 PSI with the modification. I am going to get a B&M to raise the pressure again back to 43PSI, that should be cheap only 65$ from road race, I already have the B&M fuel guage so I can set it. Thanks for the info guys.
If you any of you would be interested in me doing this mod for you let me know.

If you have a AFC you can add fuel if the base pressure becomes 39psi

I have an AFC, I guess I could do that, but would'nt that push me closer to fuel cut, and take a couple of cc out of 450s of course I am getting some 550s soon.

Well without and EGT gauge and a logger theres no point in all this anyway. Can't tune w/o them.

Later,

I have the EGT, i'll be getting the Logger on the 5th. Guess I can wait till then.

I would since it is kinda of a Ghetto setup (no offense) you want to be able to log to make sure nothing goes wrong.
