Version 3 won't come out anytime soon. Maybe by late fall or early spring of next year if that.

All I can say is I hope they added a way to controle timing with NLTS. I'm getting sick of getting knock durring shifts!!! You can go into the Dsmlink fourms and read the enrichment (wishlist & update) thread..

Honestly, don't expect it within the next year. For over a year and a half now, they've been saying it will be within 6 months. As much as I love DSMLink, this gets real old real fast. If you don't have a definite idea of when it will come out, say so; don't keep leading people on with, "we're hoping for in the next 6 months". It makes people lose faith. I realize they're basically re-writing it from scratch, but geez, is that really necessary? V3 better be leaps and bounds above V2, or they're going to have a revolt to deal with.

A "revolt to deal with"? What, people will tear out their perfectly good V2 setups in disgust because the new version isn't "leaps and bounds" above what most users are already pretty happy with?
Have you noticed how Tom and Dave have tried very hard NOT to give a release date, becasue if they even suggest a timeframe, people take it as though they've made some firm commitment to a date and feature set?
*sigh* Ingrates everywhere.

It will be out when it's done. There have been a lot of requests for the new version, and getting them all to work in conjuction w/o bugs is not easy.

He's right about what it cost to upgrade from V1 to V2. I think it's a bit premature to suggest that they'll do the exact same thing with V2 to V3; without hearing it from Tom or Dave, it's just speculation.

Thomas has told me that it has too much bugs in it. They are testingit out, however, he said nothing about a release date. The knock inbetween shifts is a pain in the ass sometimes. I hope that add that NLTS.

They have supposedly got GM MAF integration working properly. So no more need for that POS Translator that's so inaccurate.

I'd rather see them go to speed density and get rid of the GM MAS all together.
