will i need an S-AFC?

I was wondering if you need an S-AFC with a walbro 190 pump and 550cc injectors on a big28 running about 18psi?

No. The factory ECU in the 2Gs has a combined telepathy/x-ray module that can identify aftermarket parts and read your mind to see how you've adjusted and configured them. If it detects a Mitsibishi technician in the driver's seat, however, it will flash the "check engine" light in a special pattern so the tech can find and replace the parts. So be careful and don't go near the dealership once you've upgraded or they might steal your mods.

I would say yes you will need an S-AFC to run the larger turbo and injectors.

absolutly you will need a s-afc or HKS AFR both are easy to tune, the afr is cheaper though.

Your car will have no idea that 550cc are there and will drown your motor in fuel until you hit boost and even then you will be rich. THe safc tricks your computer to thinking the air fuel is different and it changes the pulse width of your injectors to correct the fueling problem associated with larger injectors. You will also need a data loger to see how much you need to come down, or a wide band O2 sensor at your disposal.

well, to properly use them you would need a s-afc. I was wondering if i would to before, but once you upgrade injectors it's usually a good idea to get a s-afc along with it..

do you need an AFC, no.. but my question to you then is do you want to feel the extra power from the turbo or not?

Your going to need to lean out your fuel mixture around 20-25% across the band, so yes if you want the power, an AFC is necesary.
