If you still have the 2g plug for the old 2g mas then you need to use the MAFT for a 2g. That is the only difference between the two. As far as tuning goes you need to tune for as little or no know as possible. Unless you have upgraded your injectors make sure you have set the MAFT for 450's. Also make sure you have a logger, to see if any changes you make show a positive effect or not. I also just remembered that since your in a 2g you need to tune for best timing advance since you can't log knock unless you have DSMlink.
