Car missing\ stuttering

Whenever i try to push more than about 14 psi the car will miss. When i get to about 5000 rpms it starts to miss it wont go. It feels like its not getting enough fuel so I got a supra pump but it didnt help. Ive replaced plugs and wires im not sure whats wrong. Let me know if anyone has any ideas. thanks

Have you logged it? What other mods? Do you have an AFC or any other type of fuel control? What injectors? What gear or does it happen in every gear?

No i have not logged it....i have an 18g ported clipped, dejon intake, brode uicp, 1g bov, mbc stock injectors and no fuel control. The car ran fine for the past month with the 18g but just started doing this. it happens in every gear right around 5000 rpms

I dont know what the hell is wrong with it I cant figure it out. It spools perfect until it hits 15psi and then it misses and shakes and wont go...anybody have an idea?

Your car might be detonating. Try getting bigger injectors and fuel computer. Also what type of plugs you using?

I understand you. I just bought a HRC stage 1 kit for my 99 eclipse rs and I have been 5 days trying to fix this problem. Mine will work perfect until the engine gets to normal operating tempature but then it will stutter at the start an then when the turbo boost's like it's out of fuel. I have no idea what to do? Anyone have any suggestions.?

log it.. find a way to log it.. the only way to really know whats going on is to see what the ECU is doing.

Double check the plugs and wires. Mine did the exact same thing. I checked everything and it turned out to be a bad wire. The car ran perfect until I hit about 15psi then it would studder like crazy.

I was trying to tune my car today (without a datalogger) and I leaned out my VPC and lowered my fuel pressure to 38(1G- vac disconnected), and my car started missing and stumbling @ 5500+ 20PSI WOT. The car was pulling really great, but I had to turn the boost down to avoid this BS.

If it is the wires, How come I dont have this problem with more fuel????? Or with less fuel and less boost?????

Check the gap on your plugs, I had the same problem. I closed my gap to .028 and the car ran fine at high boost and rpm.

I totally forgot about that! I decreased the gap from .035 to .027 and it went away!
