after having a real hard time tuning my pte680's,i took them out and put my stock 450's back in..well now i what i think is phantom knock,as soon as i tap the gas boom,43 counts,no matter what and my maft settings are VERY odd,i have to have aux/base set to 430's and my idle all the way rich,and my logger still shows lean at idle(118%).i have a safc,but just trying to set my base with the maft and fine tune with the afc.i have a brand new 190 pump,new filter,no boost leaks,everything looks great.i have no idea why this is happening. BTW i have had absoulutly no phantom knock in the past,just seems like all of a sudden when i put my stockers back in it happened....any ideas as to whats going on what be great!!!

You probably messed up when installing your injectors and have a loose connection on one and are losing fuel to one or more cylinders.

I'm having that problem right now. i've been going from my 450s to 680PTEs to calibrate my maft on dsmlink and i have developed a leaky oring issue... sniff for gas around the injectors and start the car and let it idle for a while to see if you have a bad injector oring... i also screwed up the oring on my inlet hose to the fuel rail. that caused all sorts of knock issues :notgood:
 
well my part throttle knock seemed to have disappeared,i think i had a dose of bad gas. :confused:

anyways,my trims are still lean 116% for my low,mid..but 97% for my highs,my maft settings are still the same as my first post,all the way rich for my idle,and my aux/base is set for 430s.it doesnt seem to be causing any issues,but just dont know why it has to be set like this.
