Ok guys Im trying to figure out what my next mod should be? I was thinking FMIC but thought I would ask for advice. The reason being Im still fighting knock. I have MAFT 1.3 but it is hard to tune with it. Its all or nothing.
I have read that a FMIC will help with knock but was not sure if something else would work better?

Here is what I have so far: Mods are:30 over je pistons, Eagle Rods, Balance shafts removed, 3" down pipe 3" gm mass air flow sensor, upgraded fuel pump 255 Lph, 550 injectors, Ported 16g Ported O2 housing, 2g ported exhaust manifold, act 2600, Fidanza Flywheel, 4 bolt, Logger MSD 2 step.

AFPR then FMIC.

Bingo!

You should definitely have a ton more breathing room with those 2 mods, those are pretty much the only things youre missing for a decent setup, nothing extreme, but with good potential. Only thing you might end up doing is maxing the 550s, maybe not though.
good luck.

Ok so what advantage will I have by getting a AFPR. Will it help with my knock problem?
Will it change anything on the MAFT settings? I have the base setting set for 475 injectors even though I have 550s and Im still lean. Could the AFPR help that?

How would I up grade the chip? I thought I would just have to get MAFT 2.0

You simply buy the newest chip and put it into your existing maft. Get it for $30 here: http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/itemdesc.asp?CartId={4EVEREST4BEABF7-9E59-46A6-A165-B8C18F65BE53}&ic=050DSMMAFTUP&eq=&Tp=

just out of curiousity how are you still lean  I use 650s w/ a walbro 255 and a stock auto fpr and even w/ the maft set for 650s i still lean it out upwards of 35% w/ the afc?

So alls I have to do is by the updated chip and I will have version 2.0?

Im not sure why Im still running lean I thought the stock fpr would be ok for my set up now.

Would upgrading it help with the knock?

Im running about 14psi right now
