So, there you go. I'm planning on getting the PLX M250 wideband with the gauge and doing my datalogging with the DSMlink. So, those of you who have the PLX setups, how does the narrowband simulation work? Does the car feel like it used to at idle? How do the the fuel trims respond? How does the car feel while cruising. Low RPM and high RPM. Or at least, how is your gas mileage now? (Excluding the fact that you love WOT and 20psi daily :) )

Also, do you have it placed in the front or rear O2 spot? I've heard that having it in the front one shortens the life expectancey of the O2 sensor.

But I've also heard that an actual narrowband sensor in the rear O2 isn't that good for fuel trims and cruising/idle A/F monitoring as the air at lower RPM's doesn't flow fast enough to update the O2 sensor fast enough for fuel trims to be wholly accurate. Will a problem like that come around with the narrowband simulation if I have the PLX wideband O2 sensor in the stock rear O2 sensor spot? Thanks guys.

well I can tell you you won't be putting the wide band in either spot...

upper is too hot, the other is post cat and cold and far away.

you'll be putting it some where near where the DP starts to bend...

A new sensor costs $30-35. If you dont want to get a bung welded in, put it in the front. I used my in the front with no problems for 6 months so far.
