Ok Me and my Brother just put a 2.0 Liter engine in our 1993 eagle talon ES We think that the engine came out of a 1990 Eclipse GS The car was running fine until the 3rd day after instalation. We noticed after the temp gets up to the halfway point right about the same time the fans are about to come on it starts smoking a whitish grey smoke so We checked the oil for a blown head gasket but the oil looks just as good as the day we changed it and we noticed that their is oil leaking right around the exhaust manifold and looks like its coming out of a crack in the manifold too if their is anybody who has had this problem or knows how to fix it let me know ASAP

I really need help if anyone knows how to correct this problem please help.

I'm saying welcome to the worn valve seal club buddy. Try adding a thicker oil and see if that cuts it down any (20w/50). :(

Whitish grey smoke may also be coolant that is being burned in the cylinder by a blown head gasket. Keep an eye on your coolant level. If it desapears and you see no leaks on the outside you may have a problem. Oil burning will have a blue tint to the white smoke
