Question turbo gurus, need some advise

ive decided to get a turbochargers.com bigT28 killer. im pretty sure the stock sidemount can cool 13-14lbs of boost from this turbo, but will i have to upgrade the fuel system to handle the extra air aty that psi? i plan on adding a VP Street FMIC, some 550's, walboro 190, and a safc in the near future, but i dont have the money for them at the moment.

If you don't have the money for all of them at once at least get the fuel pump for the time being.

You could get a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and raise the fuel pressure also. Just keep a eye on the o2 voltage at WOT. And watch your fuel trim. The stock ECU will add fuel for more airflow up to I think around 10 percent or maybe 20 percent. Over what it should be at a stock level.

I guess it will adjust 40 percent on a 91 and up.

I'm running that turbo right now on the bone stock fuel system and SMIC. I can only run 13-14 psi before I fuel cut. You are seriously limiting yourself with the stock intercrapper and no fuel mods. I'm in the same boat.. no $$$$$. Too many toys, not enough money to go to all of them. lol

I would recommend Turbo (if you must first), Fuel pump, AFC, then 550cc injectors. I have tuned some 2Gs and it seems that they will run on the rich side and hit fuel cut before thwy had to. With the AFC you can lean it out alittle and push off fuel cut some.

Also not sure if this is aganist the rules so delete it if need be, but the is a GB on RC 550cc injectors at www.importevolution.com. REALLY cheap.

Don't use a o2 reading to tune.
