1G-specific Logger shows over 100% injector DC. What now?

I am in the middle of tuning my 1G and may have found a problem

My last log shows the following Injector P/W #s:
19.23mS @ 6000rpm
19.03mS @ 6500rpm
17.95mS @ 6968rpm
18.72mS @ 7062rpm
15.90mS @ 7437rpm

According to the IDC chart at http://www.taboospeedshop.com/IPW2IDC.htm my numbers are somewhere between 95%-105% on this log. Example; Taboo says 17mS @ 7000rpm = 100% and I am at 18.72mS @ 7062rpm!! At times I have even run about 1-2psi more boost than what I had during this log! Is the Pocketlogger Inj. P/W data accurate?

So, I think it is safe to say I am out of injector (550cc) at my currect 40psi base fuel pressure. Am I correct in thinking that the next step is to bump the pressure up to about 45psi at idle and try tuning/logging again? I don't want to go up to 660cc.

Thanks

What turbo are you running and why do you not want to upgrade your injectors?

You can either pump up the Fuel Pressure or go to some 650's...

I would say some biggers injectors, since you are already running more FP then stock.

I am going to to 45psi first. It might help my timing curve to add some fuel pressure and back off the airflow signal since I want a little more advance.

FYI, this is a ported EVO16g with all supporting mods.

Ideally you want your IDC to be ~80%. If your IDC is 100+ I would give yourself the extra safety margin that 660's would offer.

Jesus Christ those Evo 3 turbos must flow some crazy air. Just wondering does anyone have any hard data airflow numbers on one? Preferably on a stock intake tract 2G? So far I've been able to squeeze out 29 lbs min on pump on my small 16g.

I've been telling people that 550s were too small for an Evo III 16G for over a year, now.

Upgrade your injectors.

Well I guess you were right :o I am going to go with larger injectors instead of cranking the fuel pressure on my 550s.

What IDC do you see on your EVOIII powered machine?

Around 84% IDC for 660cc injectors with a 12:1 A:F ratio.

lol

Thanks I needed a laugh today.

45psi Base fuel pressure. You turbo and the evo16g could not make 45psi with the wastegate welded closed.
