Weird help pleaseeee

well i jus got done with the rebuild..new block etc etc...everything new...but whats weird is when i turn my key to the ON position...my temp gauge goes up....is there anything i should mess with...cause its not fully driveable yet....radiator fan is not on nor antifreeze yet...and i wanna make sure before i drive it....because when i let it idle for a little bit it goes in H..meaning hot....im not reall gonna pay attention to it so much cause egt comes friday.....but the car could sit all night and i go out next morning and turn it to the ON position and temp goes right up to the middle...so i figure when its in H its at normal operating temp lol....someone helpppp

i have a REAL tmo ecu 2...and its weird cause my stock boost gauge never worked until i put that in....also i put stickers over my rpm and speedometer...white overlining stickers could that have anything to do with it cause i had to take off all the needles on the cluster....

Thats what I mean! Don't even idle it!
But I'm not sure about why it goes straight to the middle on the gauge.
