Wow.....somebody has actually heard of microtech on here!!! woohoo!!!!! :thumb:

my buddies and i (about 5 of us) are all to the point of going standalone on our cars, and was looking into microtech, but have yet to find ANYONE who's run it and can give us some feedback. Do you have any feedback on it??

Thanks,
Josh

Hey guys. If u want more information or feedback. You can check on orldsm.com. And also call or go on centralfloridaturbo.com. And get more information. They are quiet a fews guys in florida that are using microtech with great success. I'm planning on using it in the next few months. There is a guy that is :thumb: using it on his all motor rx7 and running high 9's . It is base out of australia

No I wanted some feedback as well, a person who's car I might purchase is running one of those units at this time so I was just wondering about it.

Yea. We know of alot of rotary heads using it down under, and they also have a plug and play application for the 4g63 and that's what my friends would be using it on, i would be using the non plug and play version for my 420a project. But thanks for the weblinks, maybe it'll make our decision for us.......

hey there

im located in MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA

and yes, microtech is very very popular here!

mtx8 i believe is the most common

its a cheap / value type ecu
not the best in functions
but there are plenty of tuners around and quick cars

the only issue i've heard is to do with fine tuning
its very good at WOT, but idle etc etc is harder with big injectors etc

you wont get the best out of it for a cruiser.. but for a WOT car.. (drag strip) you'll do fine

also idle control is an issue, you will need to retain the stock ecu or use another type of stepper motor to adjust idle (air con request / cold start etc)

other than that.. my friend made 160kw's at 4 wheels with a monte carlo gvr4

small 16g, 510cc inj, stock internals, stock intercooler, 3" exhaust turbo back, intake, air filter and 15 psi boost on pump fuel

Microtech is a exelent EMS, For street and track Cars, here is very popular. im using a LT-10 on my talon. :thumb:

My friend has it on his rx7. He tuned it himself and the car runs greeat.
