Seems like I'm running rich

I started up my car today.
Been sitting for a couple weeks now.
With the test pipe and 255lph pump.
Stock injector at this time.
when the condensation come out of my exhuast seems to be a little black.
this is the condensation not the Exhast GAS.

I was wondering if my FPR is getting over run?
So it can't handle the fuel pump?


Before I really drive it next spring I have all the mods on it.

You can expect that if you add a high pressure pump and don't tune out the fuel somehow.

I pull the plugs today everything looks fine. Just need to get a AFR. I hope the AEM ems come out next month I will have both.

Since you have a 92, have you ever replaced the O2 sensor? Mine would shoot the black crap until I replaced my O2 sensor

Doesn't a 255lhp flow too much for the stock FPR to be able to bypass sufficient fuel at idle? This would cause you to run rich.

If this is the case, then an aftermarket AFPR should solve it.

never replace my O2.
I think it's over running the stock APR

With a 255 you do need an fpr. You should replace the O2 sensor regardless if it's never been changed.

i will replace the O2 before spring.

i put a 255 in my old gsx one time.
would idle and drive fun, when i went to hit 18 psi. it would dump a serious amount of fuel
this was also with the stock fpr
i personally think its more or less an 02 deal

I just put a 255 in my car (96 gsx) and my car is buckin hard.. I dont think it's the o2... I bet I know exactly what he's talkin about.. I'm gonna order an afpr and a safc tomorrow.. Cause I cant deal with this anymore
