Installing a walbro 255 on a 1G will most likely cause the FPR to be overran or cause the low fuel trims to be odd, my question is should i install an aftermarket FPR to help with this problem and another thing is the stock fuel pressure for the 1G is around 38 psi, should this be brought up to 48 or so as in the 2G? Thank you

Well, on my 2g, I have a 255hp pump and I installed a AFPR (Aeromotive) and it helped tremendously. The only reason you would want to increase the FP is if you don't have enough injector(high IDC's) and your wanting to up the boost alot

So it wouldn't really be necessary to bump the FP to be a ble to run higher boost on stock injectors, i read in an article that the stock injectors at 80% DC could push out around 275 hp, so i wanted to get the most out of the injectors until i get a bigger turbo and bigger injectors. Thanks for your responses
