I'm not sure if that block will bolt up to your transmission but I do know thats a 6 bolt 2.4L crank you could use....

Thumbs down

I heard from a friend of mine that there are people out there running 2.0 turbo motors in Mighty max and d50 trucks that bolt up to their stock trannies, I do not know if there is some truth to this or not. As far as the 9 page stroker thread it is USELESS to me because I have read and read and read and I have pretty damn good reading comprehension there is no EXACT post in there that says ok here is a list of ALL the cars you can get the 2.4 out of and here is a list of cars that have the 2.4 6bolt and the 7 bolt, there is no post that says EXACTLY which block you have to plug the block holes up or not. In my area there are no 89-91 sonatas I looked for them at 5 local junk yards what I have found instead was a list of expo vans from 91 to 93, I know 93 is a 7 bolt so im not going to use that i have however found the 90 6 bolt d50 block so does anyone on this forum know for sure if this will work or not? Im just going to say the hell with the 2.4 and forge the good ol 2.0

DOES ANYONE KNOW FOR SURE if this will bolt up to a awd tranny ?

There used to be a list of block you could and could not use. I can't seem to find it right now. Hopefully someone will post the link.

The 2.4's in the trucks are a wideblock and will not mate up to our trannies. I have two of the mighty max's with the 2.4 (should be fun one day )

Thumbs up

Yeah I figured out that it would not work after doing alot of reading. I instead went to the junkyard and pulled a 92 mitsu expo van with a 6 bolt 4g64.
