Personally, I'd say keep your 2.6 bottom end and put a 4g63 head on it. It's been done. If you're going to do the swap, pull a wideblock out of a Mighty Max and build a 2.4 L. You'll still need a 4g63 top end, but it shouldn't be that hard to come across (I just picked up a complete top end without valves for $100

) If you want to be REALLY different and go for low end torque, get ahold of a Cyclone dual runner intake manifold. They're a bitch to get to work properly, but it's been done. The variable runner length allows the car motor have better low end torque, but a decent top end as well, and if FLOWS just as much as a 1g intake manifold. Just some thoughts.
